Bydgoszcz Ecological Grants 2020 edition AWARDED!

We are pleased to announce that our school has received the Bydgoszcz Ecological Grant this year!

The Bydgoszcz Ecological Grant is a form of awarding projects related to environmental protection, pro-ecological activities and promotion of the principles of sustainable development, which was established on the initiative of the Mayor of Bydgoszcz in 2016.

After the great success of the “Adopt a Bee” campaign, we decided to take the next step in saving these precious insects and actively engage in the celebration of World Bee Day, which falls on May the 20th. In this way, we want to strengthen public awareness of the role that bees play in our lives and the threats that make it difficult for these useful animals to survive in the wild.

Our project under the Bydgoszcz Ecological Grant is to design your own bee-friendly place. All those who apply for the action will receive the necessary starter kits in the form of a mixture of honey plants to set up their own garden / balcony / pot and bookmark with the necessary information!

We strongly encourage you to take part in the competition because the best and prettiest bee-friendly “gardens” will receive attractive prizes!

Photos of your works will have to be sent to Karolina Gomes or Bartosz Kaszyński by June the 10th, and the contest winners will be selected a week later

Applications should be sent to Karolina Gomes at karo.gomes@hotmail.com. Startups can be picked up at the school reception from the nearest Tuesday or, due to the prevailing situation, they will be sent to the home address given prior information via e-mail. The number of the start ups is limited!
