A few words from Mrs. Ola, our school psychologist!

31 March 2020
“I would like to remind you that the situation we are currently facing is a huge challenge for our body and it is awareness and support that will guide us safely through it.
Every change in life, both positive and negative, causes a stress response.
Already in 1967, researchers Holmes and Rahe created a list of the most stressful situations in life (for the interested – Social Readjustment Rating Scale (SRRS)). Among them were: a major change at work, a significant change in living conditions, hours or working conditions, past entertainment, socializing, contact with family. It is hard to hide that this is what we are dealing with in an epidemic situation.
Our students have probably heard a few times about the overflowing glass, which we are, collecting experience every day (and for those who do not yet know what is going on, there will be a separate post).
That’s why, Dear, it’s good to take care of our glasses! Let inside as much sun as possible to keep them warm!
One way to reduce stress is physical activity.
As a school, we certainly won’t forget about you and the portion of exercise for each day.
Today’s set of exercises from Mr. Bartek are already in your e-mail boxes. There is nothing to wait for – we take out sports clothes and move. I am with you. ‘
